If were me, I would go with the Edelbrock Performer 500. I just put one on my 66 and its great... Like it MUCH better over the Holley.. I have used Holley in the past on GM350's and always had small issues that were a PITA. The Edelbrock is a great carb for street use and will not run rich on you. If I was doing alot of racing, I would go with the Holley... Hotherwise, Edelbrock all the way for stree use.
I had a Holley 600 and I didn’t like the way the floats operated. I switched to the Carter AFB which is the same as the edelbrock 600. If the edelbrock 500 is anything like their 600 I would recommend it as well.
The bigger question is what you plan to use of an intake. Now that you are switching to 4b are you going to match it to an intake that is better suited? I would guess there could be mounting issues 2b intake to 4b carb and further more no performance increase due to unmatched components.
Just something to think about

Yeah, if you are going with the edelbrock carb, then consider the edelbrock performer RPM intake as well. Goes together like a hand and glove.
