Nearly everone here is building something

I'm hoping to start a 347 within 6 months (289 is still running strong--no hurry[8D])

yeah same here. My 289 is running good, and i probably wont rebuild the bottom end. it's only got 53000 miles on it, but the heads need some work. So i think some bigger heads would do the job.

Yup, 302 in my 66.. I did not put it there but, I picked up another short block 302 just in case this one bites it...

There is a guy in my neighborhood who has a 66, and he replaced the 289 with a 302 from a 69. He said he ported and polished some 351W heads for it. It runs very strong, so I guess that combination is pretty easy and fairly inexpensive to do.

old topic, but just to let everyone know we ordered the cranks for our motors.

my brother is building a 331 for his 86' and my 67' rust bucket is getting a 408w.
