Default Power Brake push rod

What's the best way to adjust the "power brake" push rod? I think it needs to be adjusted, I just installed a new boster and master in my "Disk Brake Conversion". I did bench bleed the master and also did the system bleed using a power bleeder. So, there is no air in the system at all...

The has a firm feel but, has too much travel. With it mounted in the system, can I just move the brake pedal (engine off) till I see the rear brakes move and then back it off a bit. Then use that position as the rest position for it and adjust it there?

if it is an adjustable rod, remove the master and lengthen out the rod, ALL NEW MASTERS SHOUD BE BENCH BLED
