No, I don't but if it's a true Boss 302 it's worth quite a bit in top form...maybe like $100 K I think. So even in the shape that it's in...if it has the right drivetrain and it's authentic, albeit, beat...it may be worth it to a Boss 302 fanatic.
Yep that's 18,000.00 alright, and then some. I'll bet the car brings up near 25-30. It's documented history is everything and since he has so many of the hard to find parts it will bring good money. Kind of scary isn't it ?
I guess if someone has the money and desire to bring this thing back to original, 18k is worth it. Going to take another 30K to make it really right. But if it is a true Boss 302 and it is completely restored it will be worth a ton. And I thought my car was rough when I bought it... Didn't see the VIN in the add though and that is of utmost importance. Buyer beware as they say.
I assumed that without the original motor and various pieces/ parts , it would never attain the heights of a top dollar finished project.
Although with some of the $$'s paid at this years BJ auction, I shouldn't be surprized. Even "clones/replicas"are bringing in the big dough.

Yeah, doesn't seem like a good deal since the engine isn't even original, it may have started life as a boss, but now it's just going to be a regular fastback.
The VIN number in the listing ( in the top section ) verifies that this is indeed a genuine Boss 302. The G = Boss 302. With respect to being just another fastback. Not quite. It will be a Boss 302 car forever. The fact that it will be carrying a different engine than the one it was born with doesn't mean the car isn't a real deal Boss . If it is restored properly and uses a crate or other genuine Boss 302 engine, no harm done. It can never be sold as numbers matching since the original block etc... is long gone, but it will be very valuable.
If I saw that car on the street with a For Sale sign of 18K on it, I wouldn't even waste my time stopping to look at it. It looks like a rust bucket to me. Boss 302 or not.
