Cutting off mufflers?

Default Cutting off mufflers?

How do you do it? My air cut off tool just doesnt want to cut it. Do i need to use a different tool or disk?

Use a pneumatic or electric grinder with a cutting wheel. That always works.

ya, i used my electric grinder to cut through my exhaust. only problem was the blade wasnt long enough to go all the way through. had to cut one side, then the other.

True. Works if the exhaust is off the car. Or use the old trusty hack saw.

Use a recip saw with a metal blade. Don't have one???? Tough.

lol, i grined mine off while it was on the car. the car was in the driveway on jacks though. I'd prefer the reciprocating though. less sparks and shrapnel.lol.

my cut off tool was just not doing it for me. taking too long with too many sparks!
