I'm just curious if anyone is on Oahu from these forums. I have a 68 coupe and I have a friend there that has a nice 67 fastback. If there are any of you there maybe we can set up a cruise or something.

 

My wife and I are on Oahu. We have just started to restore a 66 coupe. Haven't done much to it yet. Are there any local clubs on the island?

 

There are, but I haven't joined any yet. I would recomend going down to the track and talk to the guys there, I know they have one. There's a guy who owns a 65/66 fastback that's really cool and he'll help you out a lot if you ask about the club. He's been there every friday I have gone so your best bet is about that time.

 

Did you guys find your mustangs on the island or ship them over?

 

I got mine on island, but I'll admit I got ripped off for it. I paid 4500, but with everything that was wrong, I should have paid 2000 at most.

 

got ours at the auto auction on the marine corps base for $1000

 

I'm on Oahu, actually stationed on Hickam AFB. I have 65 Mustang Coupe, only been on the island for about a year now. I have a friend around the corner with a 67 Coupe.
