Default body alterations

does anyone have pictures of some classic mustang body alterations that people have done? i'm talking custom work like antenna relocation, side vent modifications, hood alterations, whatever. and i dont mean eleanore either. and dont give me the lecture of leaving well enough alone, it's a classic, all of that crap. i just want to see some pictures of other people's ideas and work.

the extent of my sheet metal mods will be filling the holes from the "F O R D" on the hood and "mustang" on the deck lid. ill also be getting rid of the antenna alltogether. other than that mine is going to look pretty much stock from the outside.

one thing i will be fabbing is a scoop for my drag hood. my car came with two hoods so the non-directional hood im going to put a valley for the air cleaner to sit in with a scoop over it. hopefully that will give more cool air to the motor.

do you have any plans for your car?

i'm not sure yet. i'm thinking of something that i can do to set it apart from the rest, but still keep it classic. i'm sure yall have seen what they did to foose's truck. just 2 mean cuts on the hood and roof, and that thing was hot. i'm not thinking of doing anything that drastic, but we'll see.

Leave well enough alone, it's a classic, all of that crap. It simply amazes me why you kids want to alter the appearance of a perfectly good looking classic Mustang into a bastardized version. Adding side scoops to cool the rear brakes is one thing, but to add it just for the appearance is not, IMO. Adding a hood scoop to allow more air to the fuel system is one thing, but to add it for appearance is not, IMO. In other words, if the additoion of the body alteration has nothing to do with performance, then it is just a fake.
