Okay I was stripping a black wire coming out of the back of the ignition and it happened to come loose from the from whereever the other end was plugged into.[:@] So now i have no idea where it plugs into. Pics in a bit. Does anyone have suggestions?

Most black wires are usually grounds, but if you do post a pic, probably could help out.

Where exactly on the ignition system are you referring?
Black is ground.

 

Camera is dead so give me ten with the pic, but the wire has like a metal connector on the end like it was plugged in to something. Im talking about where the key goes. Oh yeah i was being careless and thought that this was the only wire in the ignition...

see it is like a plug.
The other end goes into the ignition.(key part)

Just go in and look for the female end. It should be around somewhere, it could be taped up in a harness somewhere.............. That is a ground wire by the way.

 

I only have like a bunch of female ends. Can i rig it to the metal dash for an easy way out?

 

hmmm, i wouldn't know that one. I wouldn't risk it, and would find a diagram for it.

 

no that would be the stupid thing to do now were exactly did one side of....

 

Is that solid black? or is it black with green stripe?
