Ya i would go tt2's er ttD', those bullits on early stangs look funny.
are you joking...? take a look at slickmans car....beauty at its finest...

and the bullitts and tt2's are so similar to me that it wouldnt matter.....besides the fact tt2's are about 250 dollars A WHEEL....ridiculous....even if i had the money.
They are all good looking wheels, but the Mag 500's will fill the bill at about half the price you guys are paying for those Torque Thrust II's and Bulllet/Billet wheels.

Not going to work... GO with these, this is whats on my 66.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-CH...37291603QQrdZ1

Got my set in a 4.5 inch setback and the fit great!! 17x8's all around with 225x45-17's. You can go as high as 245x45-17's with these rims.

You need to contact the guy, the correct back spacing for 1964 - 1966 (not sure if it goes beyond 1966) is 4.5 inch. He has them but they may not be listed. If your registered with ebay, just hit the "ask the seller a question".. I got mine from him and I have a 66 coupe.

Most untrue thing ive heard in my life. personally i dont think the bullits fit the style of the classic mustang. They look awesome on a 99 er 00 stang because the styling of the wheel is the same as the styling of the car. The spokes on the bullit are flatter and wider then the TT2. Just like that style of mustang, it is wider and flatter then the classis mustang. The back space that you have to run on the bullet is enough so that it looks like there is no dish, that the spokes are flush with the outside edge.
If you took slickmans car, dropped it an inch in the rear, and threw some 6 cyl springs in the front, or the equivalent to that to make the front end squat with the rear, and then threw some polished TTD's or polished TT2's in like a 16x7 er if you wanted a 17", i thjnk you would wet yer pants as to how good it would look. Then you would have some dish to the wheel. It would fit the classic look better IMO. Thats why in my first post i said it looked funny.

I don't agree with you on how the bullits look on a classic mustang. I think (and many have told me) that mine looks killer.. And the pic of mine is very old, much has changed. The top is now white and its been dropped 1 1/2 in the front..
