Default STEREO

I am about to install my alpine radio but just before i do so im wonder if it would be better to install it under the dash or in the glove box. if i installed under the dash i was going to mount it with underdask kit, but if i install it in the glove box i would have to drive with it open and its safer because no one will see it which prevents it from being stolen. what would you guys do???? please help! what are the pros and cons about both spots. thanks!!

Me, I would just get a good radio to put in the OEM place without cutting. Then go get yourself a GOOD amp and subs and you in golden. I don't believe in cutting the dash at all..

yeah, u can get a nice radio repo that has digital tuning and all that...tape deck...whatever...

then the kit can come with a cd player mountable under seat or in trunk or wherever....so u keep the stock look but have modern performance.
