Track night aug 8
ummm intake, headers, delete plates, axle backs, and tune. Need gears bad. I think that will make the biggest difference on the track. 1st gear seems so long and bogs down so easy. I think gears would take atleast .3 off the time easily
yeah get some headers. Even thought its not a huge power adder i noticed Alot more midrange. And the sound is awesome. I like driving around just to listen to the car. haha. That alone is worth it. Even an o/r h or x isnt the same without the headers. Gives it a more defined v8 sound if that makes sense.
But my next mod is def gonna be some 4.10s or maybe even 4.30's. But after that im not sure. Probably start saving for a procharger or something along those lines.

under the intake is a set of valves that open up at 4k. to allow more air in. You can buy cmcv delete plates to replace them. Takes like 20 mins to do but need to retune for it.
Usually about 100 bucks for a set. Or you can just buy an aftermarket intake manifold that does the same thing.

Did you do it to your car brent? I cant find them for less than 279. Also they say you will lose low end torque. Which isnt good for strip, but you car seemed to get up and go just as good as mine.
Just look on the boards for a set of used. I got mine for 80. They make billet expensive ones. But they all do the same thing. You can make your own if you're technically inclined. Just keep looking over classifieds. They pop up randomly.
