Default tires

i didn't realize i was posting on this thread...oopps..damn newbies..

i'm most likely going to get 15x8 and 15x3.5 welds. so far i was thinking kumho or bfg..just not sure..some say bfg all the way, then the ones that say kumho so no way to anything but...sooo..i dunno. i'm new into all this stuff so it's kinda nerve racking.
i've seen a few tires/wheels on ebay, but don't know about the backspacing i need.

thanks pro50sc

Sam, I am one of the coolest ****'s you'll ever know!!!

for the welds, go w/ a 5.5" backspacing for the 8" rims and a 1.75" for the 3.5's.

Oh and find another choice for the kumhos, they are a bottom end tire. I would know!!![:'(]

alright..thanks..you know how it goes when asking multiple people about the same tire..so bfg d/r?

is there a particular "formula" to figure out backspacing..and the backspacing suggested won't make the wheels stick out right?

thanks

that's why i put formula in " " cause i figured as much. i just got my car and found that i need fuel injectors/pump and a couple other adjustments..so i guess i have a couple weeks to find some wheels.

the pic attachment i have on my previous post didn't come out too good..used my phone camera..i'll spending the day tomorrow to wash/wax and take some better pics.

can't wait 'til spring!

thanks for the help pro50sc!
