I'm curious why you people in other states let the dealers get away with "branding" the cars they sell. I see the white dealer logo on the left side of the trunk lid. I would never put up with that.

Is California the only state where dealers don't regularly do this?

I took the dealership front plate off, and the dealership license plate frame. It's just a thing here for some reason, all the dealerships do it and people let them.I didn't even think about it until I drove the car home. This morning a hair dryer and 10 seconds and the sticker peeled right off.

This is the only pic I have on me right now. Under construction, and yes, I do live in a drive in. It's pretty awsome when they have carshows and cruise ins.Plus I can watch movies from my porch, and the concession stand is downstairs. That and the 4 car garage inside the drive-in.

In the old days ( 50`s & 60`s ), the dealer would actually drill holes in the trunk lid to put on their dealer name. They were made out of pot-metal & held on with speed nuts

. I agree, I don`t keep the dealer name on any of my cars. If they either pay me an annual fee, or give me the car for free, then I would consider advertizing for them.
