not only is it stupid, but theres no support for them when they are all the way up, so if you go fast enough, over time they will slightly warp from the preasure of the air

even if im doing over 100 the windows are down witht the top, only time the windows are up is when my phone rings, or if its below 40 and im on the highway for a brief minute

Holly crap man, that is insane. I would have to have enough clothes on to look like the Michelin man before I would have the top down when the first number in the temp is a 3. I have been know to put it down when it gets back about 50 in the spring, but thats about it.

That must have been me [8D]

Haha!

Actually, 40 is a wee bit too cold for me, but say low 50's with the top down, windows up and the heat full blast is nice and toasty.

I find that wearing a pullover sweatshirt with a hood helps a lot because the air tends to come around and hit me in the back of the neck.
The heat tends to get inside the hood and makes for a toasty ride as well!

Hey, I'm in NY so I have to make the most of my top down days even if it means windows up.

BTW the windows are pretty well supported by the channel on the cowl and the rubber between the back and front windows.
At 100mph though I would start to worry a bit.....

Anything above 60 degrees or so and it's all windows down!!!

Doesn't it **** you off when you see people driving around in a 'vert with the top down and all the windows up?
You must lead an interesting life to get upset about something like that.

I often drive with the top down and windows up. There are several reasons for it.

1. It cuts back the sounds of traffic, like when driving next to a semi, a truck with mud tires, and other noisy things.

2. It makes it easier to keep the interior temperature where I want it (hot or cold).

3. It lets the sun in much better than with the top up and the windows down.

And that comment about the windows warping from the practice is pure fantasy. They won't be damaged from the practice.

I keep my top down absolutely as much as possible, but I'll put the windows up or down as the circumstances dictate.

I've tinted my windows so, having them UP with the top down looks even more dorky lol. However I have done it a couple times, especially when trying to impress a hot chick passenger on a cool evening drive

I think we can make an exception in the man law for this one.

I really don't care how people ride in their vert, I just think it looks goofy personally, but it is better then not driving a vert.
