what color top????

For most things like this I would go with simple green. It is organic and can clean just about anything, but I would be cauctious if it was a dark color top. Start with a weak solution and then slowly progress.

Use a mild soap and water solution with tooth brush. That should take it out.

I just use a damp (water) cloth with water...nothing else. It takes care of the problem.
