Some POS slashed my perfect top 2 nights ago and tried to steal my stereo, luckily the alarm scared him off. (great its starting to rain). I have found a 89 with a new top and it also has some other goodies I want to put on my 91. My question is will the 89 vert top work on my 91? Either by swapping the entire top assembly or by just swapping the 89 vinyl top to my 91 frame?

When looking for new tops and the like i have never seen any site that broke up the tops between yearsother then 87-93. So I think it should work. Especially if you are doing the entire top.

OK, well I stand corrected. Serves me right for going from memory instead of loking it up again.

 

 

My advise, be careful. I redid my '88 with '93 interior and it worked fine... but there were a few modifications I had to do in order to get it to fit right. You could hardly notice... but still. So if your gonna change out the top... there's not really any modifications you should be doing or else you'll end up wet... :P
