Default Update on the styling bar

Well it finally came in the mail and I opened it like a kid at christmas. I read the installation directions and they are kind of intimidating! I didn't think there was that much work to put it on. I've done a lot of stuff on my own but the interior doesn't give you a second chance when you mess up. So I'm thinking I'm gonna take it somewhere,BUT, where is the best place? Will any auto ad onz place install? For example shops that put in sunroofs and brushguards and all that stuff, be able to do it? If anyone has any experience with the styling bar, installing it themselves or taking it to a shop, help me please! How hard is it reallyor how much is it to have someone else do it? I live in the lower Michigan area so if you know anybody capable in that area I'd love to meet them!

put mine on myself and your right that cutting and drilling thing (only one chance) is sorta intimidating, but it's really not that difficult. just make sure you measure 3-4 times then cut. i bought mine directly from classic design concepts, which is in lower michigan and any queastions i had they were more than happy to help. again not that difficult and i'm not mechanically inclined. good luck

Yea just follow the instructions step-by-step & you'll do fine. Measure twice cut once..

In the end you'll be even more pleased with the bar when you can tell people you installed it yourself [8D]

On the bars you guys put on were there 2 plates one left one right, 4 bolts and 2 rivets to go threw the plates? And what exactly did you have to cut? And what did you use? Thanks for the help

Take some pics as you do the install. Maybe it will help out others in the future.

Take it out to CDC in Walled Lake and let them install it..... probably not the cheapest place, but it should give you some piece of mind.

Do they have a phone # or a website for directions?
