Is it necessary to open the rear window prior to lowering the top on an '89 LX? The owner's manual states "no" but the PO told us not to lower the top with the window in place and zipped up. Any info/tips will be appreciated.

 

i know that if i wanna drop my top the dealer told me its a good habit just to lower em befor and leave em down untill you put it up.

 

I've owned three 5 liter verts and have never unzipped the rear window to lower the top. [sm=smiley20.gif]
