Default Foam Touch Up

Ragtop Owners,

S197 owners specifically, when the top is down on either side of the top well there is styrofoam blocks that are visible. These"blocks' are unfinished orange yellow in appearance.
The dress it up, I thought about using shoe black as it would stay flexible, anyone else touch this area?

The fix by ford for this is to use the boot cover.

Thanks
No, the cover is to much of a hassle as much as I drive top down and have to stop and put up. I mixed up a solution of hot water and shoe polish and brush it on. For now it blends in much better. I'll take pics in a week or so to show its looks after some use.
