Default Cleaning/Dying/Conditioning

I've been quoted $150.00 for the following:

Cleaning my ragtop
Dying the fabric (3 applications) to get it back to clean and new looking
Conditioning the top so it should last a few more years (its really shrunk)

Is this a good price?

sounds like a good price to me. I haven't done any shoping for this type of work, but I figured it would be more than that.

I've used the Mothers stuff and worked real well. I've heard very good things about "Raggtopp".

Will that stuff work on white tops at all? Mine is a bit dirty and I don't think it has ever been cleaned.

tree sap dripped on my new black top last summer. do you think any of these products would help remove it?

I just picked up a convertable last weekend. Never owned a convertable before and I was also wondering what would work good for cleaning the top.

Usually, it is hard to dye a vinyl top if it ever has had some type of oily protectant on the vinyl because the dye can't "bite" or adhere to the old vinyl. It is a terrible idea if it is a cloth top like on the '04 Cobra's. The top will look off color or shaded instead of all one color.
If the top is shrunk bad, it's just a matter of time before you need to replace it. Probably has had "Armor-all" or some other protectant with silicones in it. I make my living off that stuff.
