Default Should I replae or fix boody kit?

I have 94 mustang with a xenon body kit. The body kit isn't cracked but the paint has scratches and chips from road and weather. Its a poly type. I wanted get some advice what would be best. Either have it sanded and paint or just replace it and start new. I looked up the kit and it retailed around $600+ Would it cost the same to have it sanded then repainted?
