i have never used a clay bar, will someone who has, explain the ins and outs. what tools or equipment are needed, what should it cost, any tips. thanks, john1614.

Clay bars range from $10-20 in kits. Try checking out autogeek.net
They have a great how-to section. That's where I learned to use clay, and it
works great. Later.

http://www.zainostore.com/ has the best complete auto detailing kits.

Just put soapy water in the area you want to clay bar and rub the bar on it. It doesnt scratch the car, and all the crap on the paint is removed.
