Default Clay bars

What exaclty does a clay bar do? How do I apply it, and remove it. Does it require special skills?

The stang needs a good cleaning and waxing it looks like ***. It needs all the help it can get. I want to get that glossy wet look, or as close as i can.

Clay will work wonders when used correctly and before a 3 step system.

wash your car, then use put soapy water on the area you want to clay bar and rub the bar back and forth. All the junk will stick to the bar. Then when you dry it you can feel the car and see that it is completly smooth.

You should only have to clay your car once a season -- maybe twice if it gets a lot of contaminants. The clay smooths out the finish and pulls microscopic embedded crap out of the finish. Go to www.autopia.org or www.autopia-carcare.com (both the same site) for a full guide on cleaning your car really well.
