Tire sizes?
I am thinking of buying some new wheels and I might buy 10.5in in the back and 9 in in the front all 17's. My car is lowerd by Mac lowering springs. What size tires should I get to take up the fender space?
Also, are the street DR's any good for mileage?
Thanks

I've got an 02 GT. Don't know how this is compared to the 94, but if you do then this may help...
Mine are 18x9.5 Cobra R's with 275/35's all around. The tires and rims are flush with each other on the outer edge - which I need to change. The front stick out of the fender about 1/4 to 1/2 inch (which I don't like). The rears are under the fender maybe an inch. Tonight I just saw a Saleen up on a rack with the perfect setup - this is what I want:
Front - 18x? with 265/35s
Rear - 18x? with 295/35s
The tires, both front and back, were about a 1/4 inch wider on the outer edge than the rims(good protection).
The tires, both front and back, were flush with the fenders. This would be Perfect! Only thing is how wide to make the rims. Unfortunately I did not get the chance to verify it. But like I said, mine are 9.5 with 275's in the front and they stick out 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. If the 94 has the same room and spacing then 9s may be a little to wide if you want some tire protecting the rim. You may want to go 8.5. I'm guessing 8.5s with 265's in front and 9.5s with 295 in back is what the Saleen had. If I get verification of this I'll let you know. Hope this helps.

Wouldn't it make sense to get 18x9 all the way around - maybe 265-35-18 all the way around and use a 1 inch spacer to push out the rear tires (so you can still rotate them) ? Just guessing...
Well, at first i wanted the same all around for exactly that reason, but it seemed that the most affordable high performance tires i was considering all were directional - so i wouldn't be able to rotate them anyway. plus, i wanted to max out the rubber on the rear for better stick. one thing i wanted to avoid was the obvious difference in width. i think it will look good with 265 front and 285/295 back. that saleen up on the rack had this and looked great!
I just put on 17X9 (+26mm offset) fronts with 255/40's and they are flush with the fender and 17X10.5 (+27mm offset) rears with 275/40. The fronts are perfect but the rears should be a 295 or 305's just to fill it out a bit more. The rears are slighty in from the fenders but its about perfect for lowering without clearance issues.

I would think so....

In regard to Tires: I just purchased Nitto 255/40's x 17 on polished 03 Cobra wheels all around. I think it is a nice up grade from the stock Goodyears.
