Advice Please!
Hey everyone,
I just bought a 2004 Mustang 6 cycl/ 40th Edition.
I wanted to get some flowmasters put on, but I want the right ones.
Not too sure what to go with. I don't need anything TOP NOTCH,
but I wat my car to run better and sound good as hell!
Any suggestions?
Also,
I want to put a supercharger kit on it,
Any opinions?
One more thing, lol, I want to put a GT hood on it,
Any suggestions on where to go?
Thanx so much!
hey, first off, welcome and congrats on ur new stang. it was nice chatting with u before. for the flowmasters, the 40 series are pretty good. they're the most common but i like them. any flowmasters sound really nice.
as for the supercharger, I'm not sure which major brands would make one for a V6, but I'm sure you can find one somewhere, or you could have one put together to fit. either way it will cost big bucks and if you wanted more power it would probably be better off trading the v6 for a GT then modding the GT. personally, thats my opinion. (also if you trade it for a GT you will aslo have the hood already)
anyways, if you just want to keep the v6 and make it a sleeper thats fine too, just costs a lot of money to s/c it not to mention strengthening the engine for any car and doing it on a GT will give you much better results. (depending on how much boost you want to run you should strengthen the internals).
PS - this thread probably doesn't belong in the detailing section, and the moderators will probably move this :/ just for future reference there is a 6 cylinder or general tech section where you can ask questions and ppl wont give you crap for it. once again welcome
