Default the SLeePer ??

so i was at my cousins house last weekend for easter and we were talkin about some trend they have out there in orange county california. i guess if you have a fast car and you debadge it, and take off the rear spoiler, and do anything else to it to make it look slow, you have a sleeper.... anyone else know of this trend>?? he has an evo 8 and he dipped his rims in some black powder coat finish, blackened out all his evo badges and the mitsu signs, and took off any stickers he had.... he also deleted his rear spoiler. i kind of like the idea, it totally anti rice. i guess the hole rice look with loud *** bass and stickers, and huge spoilers is finally over !!!

anyone else have a sleeper???

i think i accidentally do [sm=groupwave.gif] sweet

I live in the Los Angeles area. I see a quite a few of these on luxury vehicles (Mercedes, BMW's, Jags, etc.), SUV's, as well as rice. But it's all for looks, and not to try to be stealthy or a to be a sleeper.

The concept of a "sleeper" is as old as racing. The basic idea is to take a car that doesn't look fast and make it fast.
