Hello!I just recently purchased some new tires for my 98 mustang gt. I bought the Sumitomos 315/35/17 and 275/40/17 and these tires are a lot wider than I thought. My question is am I going to have any problems when I put these on my car? The rims I'm going to be using are bullits 17x9 and 17x10.5. My car isn't lowered so I'm hoping things work out ok. I think you'll be alright with the tires, someone correct me if I'm wrong, butt the new cobras come with 275's all around on a 9in rim, soo on the front you'll be fine. as far as the back I have nooo idea! I myself just ordered new rims, 18x9 and 18x10.5 saleens, and I got 255s on the front and 285s on the rear, I havent got them on yet, butt I hope it looks alright!

 

Youll be fine on the front end.... The rear end you may be pushing it.... Just be careful cause that could cause some bad wear on those rear tires.... If they start cupping in the center you may need a different setup.....
