why the heck are detailing products so expensive. i just spent 30 bucks on a couple of things that i didnt get last week and i spend a TON last week. keeping my car clean and shiny is what is keeping me from getting my springs and ud pulleys.....it sucks. i just had to throw that out there.

You just have to put a price on how much pride you take in how your car looks. It's all a matter of priorities.

Meguiar's is far from pricey. Then again, I've spent almost $60 on a jar of Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax. That's just the last step. Add in clay, a couple different polishes, a glaze, quick detailer, etc.

Hands down 3M products are the best in the world! They are a bit pricey but you cannot beat the shine or durability.

I use PRO POWER Products, distributed by Auto Care Products / Santa Claritis, CA. (very near MEG's Corporate) Now, laugh or question, if you will.

But,.... I absolutely swear this is MEGUIAR's ina different bottle. The instructions on the back match Meg's word for word, justa different sticker. I have sprayed and applied the mist detailer, polish, and bug and tar remover on white paper, they are the same color, have the same smell, texture ... everything.

On the car or truck, you cannot tell them apart, and I have waxed 1/2 the hood with 1 and the other 1/2 with the other. My buddy that owns a body shop agrees. My son-in-law a total detail nut, has switched once he saw the results.

Now, I buy this stuff at a local store called "DEALS" for $1 !!!!!!!! They also have TURTLE WAX GOLD car wash for $1.

AMAZING RESULTS

It's almost like buying canned veggies at the store,. name brand @ top price or store brand @ 1/2 price.

I know there are some fanatics that will only use brand-X, but, trust me this stuff is just as good for $1, and I wouldn't put junk on my "babies".... My Torch Red GT Premium is due in FRI, and I'll use this stuff on her, with confidence.
