Get a buffer and try that. Is it dull like oxidization or just not as crisp as you want. If it is dull, rubbing compound before polish. After ALL scratches and swirl marks are gone, try hand glaze. If you are hung on meguires, get the "Gold Class". I am a painted by trade and I have found that different finishes "like" different products. I had a Honda that loved "Starbright". I had another that loved the "Gold Class". I use House of Kolor paint and it all likes the hand glaze 3-M the best. Think I'm kidding, look at the attached photo for sample "shine"...and no, it's not wet!
