Hello I have a 99 mustang gt, I am looking into getting new rims and tires at first I thought about getting 18 inch rims and then I thought it would make the car sit to high. I am not really looking to lower it right now but if anyone has any thoughts on 18 in. rims please let me know, the tire size that I am going to get is 265/35/18 for rear and then 245/40/18 for the fronts, and also does it need re-alligned if I do put the rims on?

depends on how wide the wheel is for the tire size... and in my opinion, you should get 18's.... they look so much better than 17's
