not illegal if u cant see the bulb. the bulb can glow wherever it wants to, but u cant actually see the bulb itself (or at least thats what a couple cops told me one time) and if ur parked u can do whatever u want. u can even have a light rack off a police cruiser and be throwing a pig rave as long as ur off the street

now for the unhelpful part!

IMO, underbody lights of any kind look dumb, dont do it! save ur money and buy quad turbonators!

You cannot have red or blue while you are driving.

96 Gtstang, Is right. Red and blue are a Major NO NO NO NO NO NO .....Down here in FL the cops are ridiculous, I had black neons inside and he was sitting there argueing with me that they were blue but whatever, they were black. Cops down here really hate any kind of Underbodies regrdless of color. They also attract the wrong type of crowd.

That's just my 2 cents

The law varies from state to state on this topic. Here in IL where i live you cannot have any LED/Neon lights active on your vehicle, inside or out, while you are driving. In other states they allow it, my advice, if you really don't want to take the chance of getting a ticket or being hassled, is to check with you local police department on the issue. My two sense on the issue is that most LED/Neon lights belong in the Fast and Furious movies, but i know each person has their own opinion on what looks good and what looks bad.
