Default Top Down

Does anyone leave the fabric top down all night?
I was told even if the car is garaged you should never leave it down all night!

Leaving the top down for extended periods cause wrinkles int eh top and permanent creases in plexiglass windows.

Yes, wrinkles if left down too long. Especially bad on really cold nights. I also noticed more dust on the interior.

Yes, I have noticed on my 06 that leaving the top down overnight than putting it up the next day sometime seems really tight, I thought it was my imagination but seems to be true. Just curious but our windows are real glass right ??

The 06 has a glass rear window. I've asked the dealer if there was a limit of time to leave the top down. They said that there is no set time limit. I've left mine down several nights and haven't noticed any issues. I've only had it 4 days so maybe that's not enough for a complete evaluation.

4 Days. You're still on your honeymoon. I fully understand leaving the top down, I wouldn't want to wait for the top to raise to start driving either. Sweet looking ride.

Have fun.[sm=gears.gif]

over night wont do much harm, leave it for months that might be a problem, my grandfather has a 66 buick and the top is usually down for a few weeks and it is still fine, it just streaches back out when you put it back up
