Got a Question
Well i cleaned the stang today and after that i went to wax her for the first time, ive never waxed a car before and so i got my microfiber towel and wax ready and i applied some to the towel yadda yadda yadda and while im applying i notice my mifcrofiber towel is getting kinda dirty?!?!?! is it supposed to do that?? I thought the towel would be clean except for wax of course but it looked pretty dirty does that mean i didnt wash it good enough?? will it make a diffrence?? The car looks GREAT right now it didnt seem like it affected it. Also it says on the back of the Meguiars "Cleaner Wax" (simple one step wax) it says apply to a cool clean surface and all that **** and then says after applying wait till dries...how long should i let the wax "dry". I deffinately notice a diffrence in the cars apperance but i just wanted to know how long it should dry for. Thanks for any responses!!
Let it dry to a haze, if you touch the wax, it doesn't come off on your finger. A cleaner wax will bring dirt up and out of the finish which appears on your towel. Change the MFT when it is dirty.
If you see a diffrence, you probably did OK, and you will get better at it.

Try clay bar

This will get all the crap out of your clearcoat. The cleanerwax will do a better job andyou won't see as much dirt. I'd recommend a microfiber applicator instead of microfiber towel as it will be easier to work with. Meguiars makes really good stuff and they have a very helpful forum as well as autogeek. Quality materials and products produce quality results.
Good luck and have fun with your ride.

Clay bar the car, I had it done at a local shop that I've used for years in Corona Ca. I've tried to wax it myself but just couldn't get the look I wanted. So I took the car to the shop and BINGO the clay bar and polish made all the difference in the car, smoother and a deep wet look. Here is a day after pic also great to use clay bar if you have scratches on the car from previous washes and waxing it will tale 98% of those off the car

NO A claybar wont remove swirls, It gets rid of road grime stuck in your clearcoat, try Meguiar's paint cleaner to remove swirls, those weird spider web thingy's and small scratches. For a really nice deep finish use the whole Meguiar's deep crystal system
