I recently fell in love with the shaker hood look on the new Mach 1. Never thought much of it till I started one up, I have a permanent smile on my face now. Yet I can not afford a Mach 1. I was wondering, has anyone seen a Shaker hood and intake made for a older fox? If so, where? I'm just hoping I don't have to get a custom hood and make a makeshift intake lol.

There's a kit? I'd always thought that would be cool to do but I thought I'd have to build it.

They don't make it for 94-98

 

i think teamshinoda.com has a kit for 94-98. they also have one for 87-93.

 

I was looking into getting that scoop but found on the site that it only works with stock manifold or something so a few weeks ago i emailed them about it and they said this product is inteaded for use with stock manifold and someother bullsh*t ... i dunno it was a while back. im gonna email them again now so i can give you guys a clear answer.

The Ram Jet was designed to fit the stock intake. However if you have 2.5 "s of clearance between the top of your intake and the bottom side of the hood with no insulation, you could fabricate a bracket that would attach the Shaker to your intake. If you have a low rise cowl hood , you may also gain the require room for the Shaker unit."
