I take my car to the car wash everytime I drive it. I always have bugs everywhere. I spray pre-soak on the car before washing it but, I don't see a difference If I use it or not. I don't want to have it detailed everytime I drive it. Any suggestions! I need some recommendations on what will NOT dull the paint. It is mystichrome and it will be very expensive to repaint it if I mess it up!!!

 

get a personal servant that willl wash an care for your car at least once a week...

 

soft cloth and a little elbow grease, works every time

 

A good cleaner wax should remove the bugs. You may need to rub a little more than normal but it will work.
I`ve done that several times. I use meguiars #6
No matter what carwash you go through, thats not gonna get the bugs off completely.

 

That's a sweet ride, however I would never take it through a car wash....I made the mistake once and it pretty much cost me an afternoon getting all the tire scum off my side exhaust tips....Handwash all the way! You can visually inspect the paint while you wash. Yeah, i'm pretty **** about washing my car and damn proud of it

 

i got bug spots like baked onto the paint. what is the best way to get that off? when you rub your hand over the spots you still can feel them but they would not come off. just woundering if there is any good brands out there

 

Use a bug and tar remover, then re-wax the area. An older piece of clay bar works to remove dried bugs as well.

 

I have the same problem with the bugs. They are caked in there very badly. I used bug are tar remover and it does nothing. My front bumper is pretty bad from these things. It almost seems like i should sand the things off its so bad. I used clay bar and it doesnt do anything and ive waxed it, it just covered them up for a few days and then its back to normal. Any more advice should be most helpful.

Thanks for the tips. I don't actually do a drive thru. I just hose it off and I do have it professionally cleaned and every other week I am going to have it hand waxed. I'm **** about it being clean. If you could see the true colors of this car. I get so many people stopping me to see it. Interstate is the most fun. People speed up just to see it. I wish i could capture the right light for this car.
