waxing too much?

Default waxing too much?

is there such a thing? ive gotten in the habit of using meguiars NXT after every wash. too much, too bad?

You could eventually get a build-up, which may cause streaking and/or cloudiness.

I'm not that familiar with NXT, but I think they have a corresponding spray wax, which would likely do the job for you -- save the "waxing" for maybe every few weeks, and use the spray to maintain it after each wash.

Yes, wax will build up and it wil cloud or streak. Use one coat or two thin coats of NXT for depth and pop. Follow that up with two coats of carnuba for protection. Use a detailer spray between waxes. When water stops beading on the car it's time to wax again.

As long as you use quality products, should be no problem. If you get buildup either wait for it to wear or use a cleaner (Meguiars Step 1) then start over. I call it detailing my wife calls it Male-Machine Bonding.
