Inside Windshield Cleaning
I've tried everything in this world and it ALL leaves streaks.
You think it came out good until you're out in the direct sun and see the mess it left behind, or your driving at night and everything is blurry and distorted.
I've tried various cleaners, microfiber cloths, cleaning with a microfiber cloth and then quickly going over with a completely dry microfiber cloth...etc etc.
The solution....... straight water! I mist the windshield with straight water, wipe it off with a microfiber cloth and quickly follow up with a completely dry cloth, streak free!

Would cleaning it with whatever cleaner you want then doing then plain water be even better. That way you make sure you get off any junk that might not come off with water but then using the water you get rid of any cleaner left over so there are no streaks. Just ny 2cents

I had major issues myself since I bought my 06....finally talked to a detailer and he told me straight up all he uses is....

I took a damp shammy and wet down the window and then a dry microfiber towel to "buff" out.....no streaking whatsoever.

I like Mothers Glass Cleaner sprayed on a plush cotton terry towel, folded at least 4 layers thick. Their no-streak formula has no ammonia, so it's safe for window tint film if you have some on the other glass. Clean with a damp cloth, and immediately lightly buff dry with a dry cloth.
If you have really nasty build-up of film from excessive outgassing of vinyl or smoking, their chrome polish is excellent on glass and polishes off the crud.
