I got a quote for a brand new GT bumper with the fog light set up painted and installed for 1400. Should i take it or can i find better?

 

Sounds about right for part, paint, intall, etc. Too cheap and I would worry about the quality of the paint job and proper installation. Just go to Ford and price out the parts only and see how much is left for painting and install. That should give you an idea of the quality of the work you can expect.

 

I just sold mine on ebay for 50 dollars for a black 99-04 gt bumper with foglights in excellent condition, that sounds like a rip off way to much, you could buy a used supercharger for that almost (my way of thinking at least) And why would you have the dealership install it theres like 4 bolts holding it on and a handful of pop rivots I would just find a cheap bumper and foglight set-up on ebay and then have it painted somewhere and install yourself.
