I used the Meguires Hot Shine, but it didnt last a long time and it coleected dust like crazy (dosent help that I park near an alley). Now I use Black Magic wet foam. It lasts a for weeks and looks great but it slings all over the side of the car and don't rub up against it either.

Stoner's "More Shine, Less Time". Takes only 10 to 15 seconds per tire and looks great. Easy spray-on, no wiping or spreading of any kind. Stoner also makes a fantastic auto window cleaner. Good products you should be able to easily find in any decent auto parts center, K-Mart, Walmart, etc.

Armor all Extreme Tire shine is the best stuff i have ever used by far!
If you use a sponge applicator and lightly put it on it wont fly off and it seriously last for over a week and a half!

Good S***!

Zaino makes a pretty awesome tire shine. Its a liquid, just wipe it on with a sponge and it lasts for almost 2 weeks. It has never flung off the tires either.

I'll have to try some of these products.

How do the sprays not get all over the wheels and paint?

Any time I've used a spray it was really streaky, got all over the wheels and I could see fine spots all over the panels of my car; it would collect enough dust to vomit when I saw it just pulling down my driveway...

I like the Black Magic gel. I slather it on liberally, and then go back over it to buff the shine and take off the excess.

I like the foam sprays. A good way to prep the tires is to use simple green and then scrub the tires to get all the dirt off of them. Let them dry. Take a piece of cardboard and cut it to the same size as your rim. Use that to cover the rim as your spray the foam, Keeps the overspray off. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Here's what I do:

First, I start by cleaning the tires with Formula 2001 all purpose wheel cleaner. This stuff is supposed to be a "spray on, hose off" kinda thing.......screw that.

I wet the tire with a gentle water spray from the hose, then spray the tire with the cleaner. Let it soak in for a few minutes. BTW this stuff works very well on your rims too, even if they are chrome, it makes a nice cleaner. Then take a small bristled scrub brush and scrub the tires. If your tires are dirty, this will create a brownish colored foam. Once that's done, rinse the tire with a gentle hose spray. Let the tired dry for a few minutes. A good indicator is water streaks. Once they're gone, then you use WetTire foaming tire shine. Spray it on and walk away. This stuff is the best spray on shiner I've ever used by far.

This will give you a brilliant, clean shine that will last for about three weeks if it doesn't rain.

I still haven't come accross anything that really truly lasts for more than a few drives, I've literally tried everything too. The crappy tire dressings make good use for putting shine on leather. But I do like Eagle One, but the spray nozzle is awful, splatters everywhere, so I just switched it out. I also like Meguiars gel using the foam pad. Just depends on how messy I feel like getting, stuff still gets all over your hands. I've tried the foam stuff too, it's ok but shine isn't all that great. I've put myself into the habbit of using Back To Black on the tires first buff it, then the dressing. Looks really good!
