well, i got my new(ish) mach 1 chin spoiler the other day. probnlem is, i need te screws or clips that hold it on. I went to the deeler, and they showed me what they thought was right, some pop-in clip things. are these right, or should there br screws too? and how many of each do i need. Also, anybody have advice when it comes to the installation?

 

i used pop rivits for mine. i decided to use every single hole just because i could. i couldnt get a drill under the front to drill holes so i drove it up on a ramp...a piece of wood or 2 would work too. then taped it up and drilled the holes. then i simply stuck a pop rivit in every hole and tada!

use bolts.

 

what size and all then? what would make bolts better?

 

just got to home depot or somthing and get bolts that will fit. get stainless steal. i wouldnt trust those plastic push in things. it can fall off anytime if you put those in wrong. if you use bolts itll be sure to stay on. thats what i use and its beenon there tight for a year now no problems. plus the bolts are cheaper then the ford plastic things[:'(]
