Default New guy to nice looking cars

I've never really had a nice looking/amazing condition Mustang like I have now, so I never felt the need to really "detail" a car. I would wash them and vaccuum out the interior and wax every month or so. But now I want this thing to continue looking spotless. I've been reading about "claying" your car and I don't know what this means and where can I buy it? Also, is there a way to get wax off of black trim that won't just wipe off? Any tips for shampooing carpet, where to buy products? There are a few small rock chips on the front of my hood- any way to make these less noticeable? Thanks, Mike.

If you want the clay bar now, You can go to like auto zone, they have them there because thats where I bought mine.. Or you can buy them offline (check out autogeek), Clay bar removes like the contaminants off the paint of the car .. Its great.

Where is "like Autozone" and what are "like the contaminants"? Sorry I could not resist. Clay bar will give your car that glass like finish everyone wants.

You could apply touch up paint to the hood? not my favorite way of fixing rock chips though.

For the wax on trim cleanup job get a bottle of Mothers Back to Black @ walmart for around $4,
I just used it to clean up the trim on the wifes car today and it looks new again!
