cold air intake

what is the best way to make a cold air intake shine with no smear marks or anything? i have tired alot but nothing still hasnt worked yet? i need ideas to make my chrome intake shine?

If its chrome, any kind of polish should make it shine. I use regular car wax on mine and it looks great.

I use some Mother's Chrome polish and it really makes it shine. Only problem is everytime we drive it water get up onto it (dont know how since it doesnt see rain). It will take teh water spots off though and leave a bright shine.
