What color or what type? With a classic like yours, you may want to stick with a light tint, such as 15%, but depending on your tastes, you may want the darker look. Choose a tint that has a lifetime warranty, you dont want it fading or turning purple on you in couple of years. My vert has 5% all around, with a 50% on the windshield, that black top gets hot, and I need to help the A/C all I can. And no, it is not, "Legal".

I never had good luck with do it yourself tint. Maybe I never got a quality tint. I may have to do my own back window though, my tint guy is giving me the run around, and I need to have my back window redone, I just had new top put on, and I couldnt re-use the old rear glass. Good luck, and post up some pics when you get her done.

15% is really dark..... I wouldnt do dark tint on an older car just because I have seen it on a few older mustangs and camaros etc. If you want to tint the windows you can do 35% in rear an 50% in front not too dark but just enough to tell the windows are tinted...
