You need the recharge kit.
Really simple: first tamp out the excess dirt/dust, then gently rinse the filter with regular water, going in the opposite direction of which way the air would normally come in, let it dry, then spray the "oil" that comes in the recharge kit. Should last you quite awhile between rechargings.
