Default chrome vs. polished

Ok, guys....

What's the difference between the two? I'm trying to decide between polished 18' saleen replicas and chromed 17' Cobra R's...both about the same price.

Anyway...how do they compare in appearance, maintinance, umm.... what else... Is chrome worth the extra money? I really like saleens, but I don't want to have to re-polish them, although I could understand constant cleaning.

Thanks!

I prefer the polished look myself. Polishing is just making regular aluminum wheels super smooth. Chroming is actually taking the metal and dipping it. Chrome is heaver too, but less maintenance.

Its just all preference... both are very nice.... Chrome is less maintenance, and shines up quicker, just have to worry about tire techs with them, they scratch easy....
