Default Headliner falling...help.

I have a 93 Mustang LX hatchback and my blue vinyl headliner is coming down in the rear drivers side. The liner isnt torn so I dont think I need a new one but I was wondering would could I use to get it to stay up and has anyone had this happen to them before?

Never thought of that, I was thinking of some type of adhesive. If push comes to shove that will be what I do.

I tried a spray adhesive on an old car I used to have and it held for about a week, you almost have to order a new headliner or have the one now glued professionally.

You can try regluing it or getting a new one from 5.0 resto. Not sure if they have a vinyl one or not though since ours is cloth and thats what Ive been looking at.

Hahaha I just realized a staple gun? That is so hillbilly, Maybe some drywall screws all the way through the roof will fix it.[8D]

You can glue the existing fabric/vinyl of most any headliner if you can get rid of the detiorated foam padding -- that's the likely cause of the headliner falling. Most often it's just easiest -- and best -- to buy new material.

Thanks for all the replys, Im going to get some spray on adhesive this weekend since its only a couple of bucks and try that, if it doesnt work then I will just have to get a new headliner. I saw one on ebay for the foxbody with a sunroof for $150.
