Crap, help.
Ok, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hardplace here. At the new apartment I moved to the place I have to park my stang is right where sprinklers will hit it twice a day. There's almost no otherway around this as every place I can park I'll be hit by sprinklers someway or another so parking the car elsewhere isn't an option. I wash my car once a week or once every other week so I thought I'd be ok but today i was washing it and the sprinklers are leaving water marks on my car... and they won't come out!! I put soap and scrubbed scrubbed scrubbed and they were still there after I dried it! My entire hood is covered in them now and I feel this is going to dramatically ruin the paint and shine on my almost brand new mustang. I'm very upset about this, is there anything I can do?
Polishing will get the water marks out. First I would claybar the car. Next get a good polish to get rid of those water spots. After that apply a wax to protect what you've just done.
Anytime you get water drying up on the car your going to have water spots. I see two choices - park somewhere else or immediately wipe it dry when the sprinkler goes off. There's no cure for preventing water spots.
