Hoods run around 250-500 depending on what you get. I recomend lowering your car and getting new rims like mentioned. Clear corners, clear headlights and foglights do a wonder on the appearence on the front. I prefer the chrome inserts on the letters on the back bumper.
You could tint your windows (I couldnt tell if they were done or not).
Here is a couple of mine so far (and yes mine will be getting lowered next summer as well as tinted windows).

I totally agree with everything else you said too but i love the looks of that cobra R hood with the svo scoop!

 

Thanks for the compliments. I got it at 50resto, but I just looked and I don't see it on there. Granted that was a couple of years ago. Came out to about $400 after paint and install

 

You may also want to change the front bumper that has the annoying indent for the license plate if you live somewhere that does not require you to put on front plates. Maybe a Saleen bumper kit or the complete Saleen body kit.
