96 Projector headlight help plz
Hey, I'm sure that you guys have been asked this a million times, but when I did the search for "projector" I couldn't find anything so I figured I'd ask. I've got a 1996 Mustang GT, and I just bought new Projector headlights (dual halo & one piece) for it and I'm a little lost on how to install these, or even take the old headlights out. Sorry if I sound like a complete dumbass, but I just want to make sure that I install them right and they work correctly whem I'm done. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I successfully removed the corner headlight of the old ones, I'm just basically stuck on removing the old headlights and how to wire all of the wires that are just hanging out of the new projectors.

ive' got the exact same problem, i can get the lights to work but i don't know where to connect the wires hanging out either. i think the wires hanging out are for the halo ring and the LEDs. i hope somebody can help us, my car is an 02 GT
Ya, thats what they are for, and I'm pretty sure they are hanging so we can decide if we want them on with parking lights, or low beams only... etc. But yes, help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey, if you still wanna know I figured it out. I went to Big Boy's Toys, and they said the same thing that everyone else did. All you have to do is connect those loose wires (which control the halo rings and on mine 3 little led lights) to the parking lights. By connect I mean splice the wires, which hopefully you know how to do
, to the wire that controls the parking lights. (To find the parking lights wire you can take some sort of voltage meter, turn on the parking lights, and see which wire shows voltage in the headlight area) Then all you do is put them in where the old headlights were, put together the socket-like things, and you should be all set. I would suggest that if there's a Big Boy's Toys, or Advanced Auto or something where you are that you have them take a look at it, because when it's explained to you in person it sounds sooo easy.
Good luck
