Default vis racing hoods

Do not buy VIS racing products that company sucks! I bought a hood they advertise on there website for the 99 mustang with the cowl induction and its carbon fiber. If you double click the pic that says for the 99 mustang it comes up with the two scoops the on the side like the 95 - 98 mustangs so I ordered that thinking I was going to get that hood wrong I got another one and it didnt fit right so I called and Peter who works there is a nice guy at first. He says I must have gotten the wrong hood and will work with me and do what he can, but I have to wait and send him pics of the hood. So we did that and then he said I had to wait for him to talk to his boss. I told him I just wanted 300 back and i would keep the hood even though its not what I wanted. Well mean while as I was waiting my hood was hit with a brick and it was shattered now basically he wont deal with me at all not a dime. And he says that it is the right hood just that there website is wrong I got the hood on june 18th and told them bout the website july 1st he said it would be fixed and guess what it isnt. So dont deal with vis racing they suck and have horrible customer service.

wow that felt good

dont buy VIS RACING CRAP!!!!!!!!

Might want to take the vis hood out of your signature then.... Sucks to hear about that. Word of mouth travels fast so i'm sure they'll take a hit if you talk enough.... if that is what you want.

Yeah I will do that thanks for the reminder. It is horrible the way there customer service works. I just want to let other mustang owners and other car owners not to buy anything from them cuz of the way treat you. They dont care about you as long as they get your money and there hoods are not as good as fit as they clame to be. So beware of VIS you can find the same hood somewhere else.

EXCUSE ME. You said you where going to keep the hood and wanted the money back too. The hood is even damaged by you. I'd tell you to **** off too. Sorry man, but you ask too much. Think about what you just told us. You saw a picture of a hood thru 95-98 and thought you where buying a 99 and up. They had the picture right but not the description. A red flag should have went up and questions asked before laying down the bucks. Just my opinion. Slamming because of your own undoing is not fair to the dealer. (Getting off soapbox) Now you have a nice table to stack your bricks on.

The picture wasnt for a 95 - 98 go to the website and check it out. It says it is for the 99 and up and when you enlarge the photo it shows the vents. And another the hood was not damaged by me some idiot around here threw a brick at it while it was parked on the street. And as far as keeping the hood and getting my money back. Peter said that he would send me another hood or refund me half of what I paid so I said ok. But I had to wait for him to talk to his boss. Then some idiot hit it with a brick. And I did ask questions you moron and they said I had the wrong hood because the 99 had the vents on it.

No trying to dance on your parade. But the item you wanted to return was indeed damaged in your posession. Maybe you should file a claim on your home owners. As for the website photos.. We are all human..

its false advertisement because when I told them it didnt have the vents they said that I had the wrong hood and I told them my fenders had to be pulled up to close the gap and there still was half inch gap on each side. They said it was definitely the wrong hood. When I paid them money it was a contract for goods the goods I received were not the the goods I paid for as he explained it to me. So we will see what happens and yes we are human but when you advertise something you need to stick with it they knew the photo was like that for a while. And didnt care enough to change it

First off get over yourself and listen to Cobrakid. Claim it on homeowners and just buy a new one this time order it over the phone so you don't put yourself in this position again.
